stop internet porn

We have a serious problem with internet porn eroding our families and traumatizing our children and grandchildren. Internet porn is growing at an alarming rate silently affecting children as early as the 3rd grade, 11-12 years old. Most families are unaware or embarrassed to talk about the problem publicly but are grateful when they discover a solution. How can we be more open minded and less judgmental for those seeking help? Seriously, if you want porn in your life and you believe looking at images is more sexually satisfying than learning how to love and be intimate with a real person then stop reading this article. I am actively recruiting adult men that are seeking training on how to stop looking at porn and want to break the addictive cycle. The RebootPure.com program is designed for married or single men living in Palm Beach County that want to stop the porn cycle. Men will learn how to reboot their brain by creating 12 personal modules in person in group collaboration in a safe and confidential classroom.

My mission and passion is to provide a solution that will restore broken families in our community by reaching men with the most sensitive addiction we face in or communities today. Unfortunately, the trap is very shameful and men usually won’t contact me unless their spouse finds them acting out or notices something has changed in their relationship. There is help for those seeking help. However, we need your help by not supporting porn and without being embarrassed or condemning towards those who seek help.

Sure everyone understands and accepts alcohol, gambling, overeating, and even prescription or non-prescription drugs abuse with open arms. But when someone mentions anything related to sexual integrity issues most people want to ignore it in hopes that it will go away. The private nature of this addiction scares people into isolation and their lack of understanding makes them angry and very judgmental. Why is sexual integrity excluded from the overall group of acceptance? Unquestionably the addictive cycle applies to all above including sexual integrity.

Truthfully, several years ago I had no idea regarding the size of the problem. When I discovered that church members where struggling with internet porn and sexual integrity in large numbers that made me curious. I met with several different denominational clergy leaders across the country and found out they were searching for a solution. As I continued to investigate and dig deeper into this secret epidemic I was amazed at the growing problem. There was virtually no plan or idea of how to approach this problem inside of the church without providing private counseling one on one. As you can imagine this type of counseling is expensive and not in the church budget offered to the congregation. So again the church is providing prayer, love and acceptance for its members and non-members through life groups and recovery groups that help but what if you don’t want to go to the church.

Where would you find help?

Why do people look for help in the church? Because people are ashamed with conviction and think something is wrong with them and are too embarrassed to ask for help. Most people are raised to respect the church and its leaders when dealing with private issues. Unfortunately, if not dealt with properly this secret epidemic will escalate and eventually erode all trust in relationships and family values.

In closing, let me make it perfectly clear this article is not condemning families that attend church or those who have confessed their concern regarding sexual integrity issues. Again, my curiosity started when I discovered church members admitting to compulsively viewing internet pornography and looking for help to stop. So, if internet pornography was happening in the church, there must be a larger group of men looking for help outside of the church. Based on weekly church attendance statistics prove that there are more men not attending than attending church weekly. This doesn’t mean men are bad or don’t believe as much as they aren’t interested for whatever reason. I believe everyone has the right to choose and not be judged or condemned. However, I am so proud of these guys in the church for being honest enough to ask and receive solutions that bring full restoration and freedom. This article is to reach men that would not normally seek help from a local church. Sadly, finding timely help in our community is very difficult because nobody wants to talk about the elephant in the room – pornography -until it’s to almost too late to rebound.

If you are living within driving distance Palm Beach County and are looking to stop porn – Pure Commitment offers a solution outside of the church.
